Scaffolding

Silver Gelatin Print

8 x 10

$150

As a photographer I am interested in exploring different modes of viewing and evoking a multitude of meanings. A scaffolding can be an annoyance, or it may be a harbinger of dubious change. Transformed by fleeting sun rays it can momentarily become a space filled with hope, awash in memories of carefree summer days. Roof Project explores an environment that is both painfully exposed to the elements while also delicately hidden from street view. A space of harsh functional utility, it affords an intimate experience of urban natural life.
