"Nature’s Peace" is a work of reflective art expressing inner peace. I created the visual elements that show my features as a woman of color rooted in in my environment. This work of art is a celebration of mindfulness and awareness of oneself. The beauty of identity and feeling a sense of calm through meditative practice. As an artist living in Harlem, the creative inspiration that surrounds me and the places I have been was influential in how I connect with nature and community. I specialize in creating visual narratives inspired by my life experiences with artistic symbolism and the female form. I created that through this portrait of a woman who has found her peace in nature, celebrating her environment. The expression of self-awareness and healing in the Harlem community can lead to wholeness and artistic freedom.
