Artist Statement

I feel that my art should always reflect positive images.  Art should always encourage, inspire, and uplift the people. I create art to grasp a critical view of social, political, and cultural issues. I deconstruct Black America by putting away the stereotypical images of black life, my mythology is consistent with each project I create.

This painting depicts how humanity evolves into per energy and is recycled back into the universe to form new life.  It's my belief that when life ends our spirits evolve and turn into energy recycling itself to form new life.
