Spread Love- A Brooklyn Proposal

I have called Brooklyn home for 12 years and from the moment I arrived I have captured the love of Brooklyn through my heart, my eyes, my memory, and for the last six years I have frozen those memories through my camera lens. Each of these pictures I am submitting were taken at block parties via the Tama Fest, Building Black Bed-Stuy, or by Fort Greene park in partnership with the LayOut Co to provide safe, community friendly, and fun spaces for people across cultures in Brooklyn to relax, shop, and enjoy the love and beauty Brooklyn has to offer. The first photo captures people dancing at a Brooklyn Block party doing the iconic electric slide, while the second photo shows a Father and his friends dancing teaching his son. The third photo is of a newly engage couple kissing minutes after their proposal at the Layout Co's party in the park in August 2023. The couple met at the Layout party in Ft. Greene Park in 2021 and it was so fitting they get engaged where it all started. I hope you enjoy each of these photos and depictions of love being spread through community, family, and romantic love in Brooklyn. Remember, Spread Love, It's The Brooklyn Way.
