My Mom worked at School in West Harlem for almost 30 years. It is an Honor to display my photos here. One photo I took of a Nun in park on Palm Sunday. Riverside drive has sheep, WE had our donkey. I recall Mom with this donkey, and neighborhood children and adults joyfully gathering for photos before walking in procession.

This exhibition resonates with me because I am an artist and actress who grew up in and worked in West Harlem. The Harlem School of the Arts is where I took classes in Art, Drama, Voice, and Tap.

Creativity resides in the heart and pores of this WEST HARLEM creator. To now have an opportunity to have my photos alongside Art from creatives in my community is amazing!
