Color & Music

Artists use colors to express feelings or emotions. Some artists let music play as a central part of their creative process.

You can use rhythm, tempo, and the texture of instruments and vocals to guide your brushstrokes and color palette. Think of painting as a form of movement.

Think of a song you want to share and create a piece of art expressing how it makes you feel. Consider what colors you think of when listening, and why. Does it feel bright and yellow or dark and grey? What might the sounds in the song look like on paper? Does it feel fast and sharp, or slow and soft? Show how the music makes YOU feel.
