December 2019, I was at a campfire where I jokingly said, “2020 is going to be lit!” Three months later, I was photographing the boarded up storefronts in Soho, I was capturing emotions during the Black Lives Matter movement all while trying to say safe from covid. Though the events that took place were not pleasant or joyful, they did spark a lot of creative energy in a lot of people. 

My moment in time has been the last 3 years, where I continue to photograph protests, art, and everything else that makes New York City what it is.
