Artist Statement:

It Finally happened!!!! I had been meaning to take the camera for a walk into Central Park for a while now but something always seemed to get in the way. So this night the stars aligned and motivation suddenly got the better of me ...I am so glad that it did. One of the things a long life spent on Cruise Ships means is that you don't get to take many photos on land at night. So it is always good to get the tripod out and all the jackets to brave the NYC cold to get some awesome shots in the park. This image of the Bow Bridge has now become a bit of a calling card image. So fun to be able to look back at this image and know the journey into being a Fine Art Photographer started with the taking of this shot!
