The images that I capture are already snapped in my minds eye. Subliminally influenced by the masters of street photography and abstract expressionists, I strive to communicate a mood with images that draw the viewer into the frame. “Gays Against Guns” was taken during a protest along with the Woman’s march on Central Park West to bring Awareness to the gun industry’s supporters who block safer gun laws. They are an inclusive direct action group of the LGBTQ2IA+ community. An awakening might mean becoming aware of or attune to something. This is my way of spreading awareness.
