I’m a self-taught expressionist artist that depicts images and form with various mediums. As an artist, I feel it is my obligation to paint the everyday struggle of our communities. I feel that my art should always reflect positive images on my canvas. Art should always encourage, inspire, uplift the people. I create art to grasp a critical view of social, political, and cultural issues. I deconstruct American society by putting away the stereotypical images of life. My mythology is consistent with each project I create, exhibiting and promoting; unity, dignity, and inspiration to my community.
