“Save the Trees” was inspired by Prospect Park during the winter of Covid when we all longed to see a Bluebird. It was made to honor Earth Day that year when The Brooklyn Quilters Guild offered a free outdoor “Fence Show.” My love of Brooklyn and Prospect Park was heightened during the pandemic along with my gratitude for trees that give life to our precious earth, providing shelter for birds, insects and wildlife while cleaning our air.
