Trauma on any level can easily cause one to deep dive in a very dark place.  I've recently made a choice to not be taken by the chaos around me but rather, fight back, push through or even crawl my way out of a space of cruelty and pain.  I focus on self and community empowerment. It is absolutely vital to find inner peace, build self worth and help others do the same.  My pieces speaks on this topic.
