Artist Statement
Having gone from being a Homeless Addict to a working Artist I hope to, through all of my Work, explore and express how intrinsically connected we all are, how our lives, spirits, actions and beings all intersect. That the paths and choices we all make have a butterfly effect. My First Submission is the exploration of both the atomic and structural intersections, that create balance and chaos, separation and unity call existing, intersected in texture and creation. The Second Submission speaks to the intersections of thought, truth and perception. The outline of a Woman, the patriarchal world in which she lives that contradicts her truth, told she is "less than" the man yet she is that who gives Life to that man. The intersections can be in contradiction to one another. The Third Submission explores the intersections of Self... the strengths intersected with the fears and insecurities of each of us. Intersecting the beauty and uglies of Me.
