My Art work is Art wellness and reference to the importance of family, our healing. who we and what is family for everyone. I create fiber Art that creates storytelling with different textures and colors of fabric that have specific energy and meaning. I was born and raised in Harlem. I'm a Teaching Artist in Washington Heights and Harlem and a NOMAA Artist. 

When I rise I am healing from my work of Art wellness, when I rise there is a meaning to work in the healing for me, family and community. I cannot rise without helping others to rise. "Grounding on the Ocean Water" tells a story of a family healing together by grounding in the ocean and bringing back their individual experiences to share with the community and generations to be.
