My work celebrates the lives and experiences of the African Diaspora. A Haitian American artist born and raised in NYC, I utilize vibrant geometric forms to illuminate our prideful cultures. I create abstracted figures to interpret the multifaceted and intercontinental lineage of Caribbean people. Honoring their strength throughout time rising beyond racial and socioeconomic injustices to not only be whole, but full of imagination, creativity and life. Each colorful and bold piece invites the audience to interpret the subjects as themselves, their community and legacies.
