Artist Statement

My work explores the connections between our personal spaces and the wider neighborhood. Even while we are tucked away in our homes, we are surrounded by a community of moving parts, including moving and changing light. Light may be blocked or enhanced by the architecture around us. The relationship between light and architecture is especially profound in New York City, where many of us live closely amongst large buildings.
