As a mixed media artist, my current body of work explores themes of Joy, Belonging, and the Human Condition. Through my works, I connect the classic and the contemporary and explore the unique dynamics of humans and moving through the world around us. I want to bring those moments to light when thinking about how humanity is shown in every situation. The theme of Spread Love is the Brooklyn Way was an easy choice in the pieces I am entering. My works show community and a love for the culture of Brooklyn. As a product of Brooklyn life, I know roots here run deep and intense. I want to show us in the best ways. I am depicting scenes that show us together with family and friends, moving through the world with quiet dignity and grace. The vibe of Brooklyn shows love in a way that is both firm and loving, hard and soft. Brooklyn is a world of its own.
