FEATURED PERFORMER

RANDY NARAINE

Randy Naraine is a musician born in Guyana who immigrated to Queens, NYC in 1999. He taught himself to play piano on a Yamaha PSR Keyboard after discovering he could follow melodies he heard on the radio and reproduce them himself.

Working at a piano store in Queens helped him pay for his B.Tech in Information Systems. Today, Randy runs Cybersecurity Engineering for Jetblue Airways and travels the world. Wherever he goes, he finds the music. He has played over 550 public pianos around the world. Randy also plays with SingForHope in NYC, LA, and NOLA.

"Music and the arts have always provided a balance in my life to offset my career. Working in cybersecurity can be stressful, so getting in front of the piano after a 10-hour day in front of a computer is relaxing, invigorating and, in my case, social."
