 Artist Statement:

The fragility of life, what we are, how we exist. From our essence, from our passage through the tangible to the intangible. How we resist change, but also how we adapt to it. We resist being forgotten as a nation, our culture, our past, our customs, our languages, what we once were, what we stopped being, what we have forgotten. Our inner struggle in countless battles through time. Infinity of paths that were traced and marked by our yesteryears and that we continue to draw for future generations. Of the death that touches our back, but the life that we receive with open arms. Through my work I try to close all these gaps and unite in a symbolist language the same resilience that makes us as human as life itself. We are earthen vessels and spirit beings.
