As an artist I’ve always been fascinated by the different ways people look at the world, and the ways in which reality is distorted depending on the person. Everything we see is integrated with our emotions, personalities, dreams, and fears, creating our own unique version of the world. Our world is divided into contradicting categories. On one hand, we can feel free and open, with the ability to seize many opportunities. But at the same time, we can feel trapped and lost, not being able to see past the walls we have built ourselves in. In my previous works, I explored the limitations people face in their learning process, the point in which one can get stuck in a plateau and needs to shake things up. Here I am focusing on goals and dreams and the restrictions we put on ourselves that affect the way we achieve them. Acknowledging our fears and realizing that we are capable of so many great things when we set ourselves free and open to the world is an important stage in self-reflection. It breaks the limits and creates the energy of growth. And at the end of the day everything lays inside our inner world and perception. We have all that we need inside us to be happy and content, but we need to recognize and unlock it. We have what we allow ourselves to have.
