Families. We all have them. Families in our community have come from many different countries and have chosen to live here. Many have left loved ones behind and have tried to maintain their ties to their loved ones. My family also came from another country many years ago. They came to the United States in 1921 from a small town in Poland, Kamen Kashirsk. My mother, her four siblings, her mother and father, and her grandmother all left their home and also left many family members behind. It was so hard to leave these dear ones because they thought they might never see them again.
