Artist Statement
My Seaglass series speaks to the “intersections” of unwanted trash and collected treasure –– the lost and found, the past and present.
One hundred years ago a bottle was at the end of it’s usefullness. Today that bottle has a new life in the hearts of many beachcomers and in my paintings.
The gifts of the ocean are many and we need to hold it as precious.
