JJ Gonzalez Acosta is a visual artist from Valencia, Venezuela. He has been expressing himself and telling stories through colors and paint brushes since an early age. Inspired by his mother and aunts, also artists, JJ has since earned a B.A. in Arts Education and a master’s degree in management. Moving to Florida in 2017 to pursue his American Dream, JJ currently lives in NYC. Here he creates and teaches art and origami to adults and children. The goal: to help others find their creativity and promote their talents. JJ’s art is characterized by vibrant hues, single lines, and floral motifs. Often featuring iconic images and historical personalities, he reflects on popular culture while infusing elements of his own Venezuelan heritage.
Ken Forbes is a Brooklyn - based artist specializing in coffee and cacao mediums, infused with elements of cubism and abstract expressionism. He curates immersive artistic experiences that delve into themes of the human experience- exploring mental health, the challenges faced by minorities and the underprivileged, and the essence of the divine feminine.
Shenna Vaughn is a multifaceted artist, educator, curator, and community advocate from Queens, NY.
Shenna’s artistic vision is deeply rooted in her surroundings and life experiences, drawing inspiration from textures, geometric forms, and silhouettes. Her work reflects a creative and intuitive exploration of these elements, resulting in visually captivating pieces that resonate with viewers.
Shenna’s work has been featured around the city and beyond. She has been featured in exhibitions at JFK airport, Art Basel, and is part of notable private collections including Beyonce’s corporate collection.
Beyond her artistic endeavors, Shenna is deeply involved in her Queens community actively advocating for the advancement of artists and cultural initiatives in her area.
As she continues her artistic practice and makes meaningful contributions to her community, Shenna’s impact and influence are sure to resonate far beyond the boundaries of her Queens upbringing.
Bones Jones is a dancer, fashion designer and visual artist. Bones studied ballet, jazz, and modern dance. As a background dancer, Bones has appeared behind various icons—Beyoncé, Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, and many others. He made his Broadway debut as an original cast member of The Illusionists and also appeared in Off-Broadway's Fuerza Bruta. In 2019, Bones retired from professional dance and launched his brand House°Bones and in 2021 was a contestant on Season 19 of Project Runway.
